About Calfskin

Calfskin comes from young cattle and has a fine, tightly packed grain. Because the vein pattern is barely visible, the surface reads as smooth and refined, while the dense fibre structure resists scratching and stretching in daily wear.

For straps it is typically used at 1.2–2.0 mm. It takes dye exceptionally well, which is why the colour range is so wide, and it develops a natural patina over time. It suits vintage and modern watches alike — formal under a dress watch, casual on a sports case.
